UK home and garden retail experts Homebase asked us to work as part of an interdisciplinary team to help with the design development of their stores.


We consulted on several new store development projects including their first new superstore in over six years and a new pilot of small format stores.


Together we explored the opportunities to strengthen their physical brand presence, embed their new identity and brand vision, and identified ways to blend the physical and digital journey for their customers.


Armed with a new set of brand architecture and wayfinding principles Homebase have been able to confidently implement an iterative store development programme that has seen key category sales positively impacted by +20%.


We worked flexibly and at speed to support a fast-paced process. Our retail design insights and innovations resulted in a stronger brand voice throughout the store environment and helped Homebase to elevate the instore experience.
