It’s that time of the year when we take the opportunity to showcase our favourite Christmas window displays. This year, we thought we’d ask some of our clients and partners to share their favourites. We hope you enjoy this selection!
1 – Chosen by Clogau:
Alexis Dove – Lewes
“It may not be the most bling and outwardly festive window choice, but I always stop to look and admire the lovingly curated window of Alexis Dove’s jewellery boutique. The boutique uses old sweet shop cabinets, trunks and all sorts of curios to display their jewellery. I love the simplicity of the hanging gold wreathes and gold fern leaves, which complement the botanical decorations in the window and in-store.” Katie Merrills, Clogau
2 – Chosen by Rocks Jewellers
McElhinney’s Department Store – Donegal
“Their Christmas window Reveal has become an event in the town, featuring the arrival of Santa, Christmas Carols, hot chocolate and live music.
Their windows engage young and old and as you can see from the little boy he is intrigued with all the moving elements for this particular window display. The magical world that they present – a winter wonderland with hot air balloons and moving trains – is enough for the boy to pause and consume the display.
They successfully reached out to the customer through window displays and created a unique experience too. This has helped develop a relationship with their customer base that their competitors have not been able to replicate.” Helen Carr, Rocks Jewellers
3 – Chosen by Brufords
Silverado – Lewes
“To be honest I was quite disappointed by most of the window displays I saw in London, even Selfridges which I usually love. The Selfridges Rocks theme just didn’t feel very festive. However, when I was in Lewes on Monday I was quite taken by the festive display in Silverado, an independent jewellers based in Lewes, Brighton and Guildford. The concept is simple, yet effective and doesn’t overpower the jewellery on offer in the window.
Crochet doylies framed in embroidery hoops hang at various heights mimicking snowflakes and versions of the doylies are hand-drawn framing the window. I think the concept is festive yet creative.” Bianca Wooler, W.Bruford
4 – Chosen by 3D Eye
Harrods and Claridge’s “We are very thankful for all the work we do in retail for the Christmas period. Two projects in particular we are proud of this year are Harrods and Claridge’s.
Harrods Brompton Road Christmas windows and exterior greenery
The Harrods scheme takes the viewer from waking on Christmas morning, through to opening stockings, unwrapping presents, lunchtime, the clearing up, the Queen’s speech, party time through to bedtime. The windows all take on a different feel from giant fridges with jewelled fruit, a whole window of gold leaf, giant mirror bows, a window of over 100 gold mirrorballs to the end of the day and the softness of feathers and a giant bed.” Sally Regis, 3D Eye
Claridge’s Christmas tree of love designed by Diane Von Furstenberg
“Claridge’s as always had a tree designed that is truly spectacular with over 7,000 leaves all silver leafed with silver leafed animals in the branches and grazing at the base and over 100 hand blown glass balls. This year’s designer was Diane Von Furstenberg and her ideas were translated by Stefan Beckman of New York and implemented by 3D Eye Limited.” Sally Regis, 3D Eye
Over the years we have collaborated with 3D Eye on numerous projects – the latest of which was the stunning backdrop to the distillery tasting space for Sipsmith London.
5. Chosen by Hugh Rice the Jewellers

“The Ivy in Chelsea looks amazing and this year has obviously caught our imagination.” Chelsea Collins, Blondies Kitchen
Secret London sum it up beautifully….“There’s a distinct Hansel & Gretel vibe about The Ivy’s new look…Building a gingerbread house may not be the best way to solve the housing crisis, but it sure looks pretty. The Chelsea Garden branch of The Ivy has had a sweet festive makeover, having been turned into a life-sized gingerbread house… The incredible gingerbread house has been designed by Early Hours London, who were clearly given license to run wild. The Ivy has been bedecked in snow, sweets, gingerbread men, candy canes, and sequins, giving it the look of a fairytale house on steroids. It’s an eye-popping affair, and certainly not the usual sight you’ll see on the King’s Road.” Secret London

7. And finally, here is our favourite chosen by the Innovare Design team.
This year, the VV Rouleaux Marylebone Lane shop is dripping in gold oak branches, and their Bath shop is looking jolly in pom poms and tassels. Their windows are rich, imaginative and stunning.
